FONDATION GOODPLANET PARIS
In 2025, Yann ARTHUS-BERTRAND's GoodPlanet Foundation acquired a monumental bronze polar bear by contemporary sculptor Michel BASSOMPIERRE, entitled La Banquise n°3
ZOOPARC DE BEAUVAL
“Yuan Meng,” a magnificent 2.50-meter sculpture, has been welcoming visitors from around the world to Beauval Zoo since March 22, 2024. This work pays tribute to the first baby panda born in France.
ANDENNE
“Le Miel n°3” by Michel BASSOMPIERRE was unveiled on April 29, 2022, in the presence of the artist and the Mayor of Andenne, Claude EERDEKENS.
FONDETTES
Voted the favorite sculpture of Fondettois residents at the end of 2022, the work “Le Miel n°2” was unveiled on June 27, 2025, in the presence of Mayor Cédric DE OLIVEIRA and artist Michel BASSOMPIERRE.
ANDENNE
Near Brussels, the City of Bears has had a new monumental resident in its streets since 2021: the work “Les Saumons n°1” (The Salmon No. 1).
AIX-LES-BAINS
In 2020, the City of Aix-Les-Bains acquired a monumental bronze cat sculpture by contemporary artist Michel BASSOMPIERRE.
CARQUEFOU
In 1999, the town of Carquefou (44) unveiled nine bronze toads by animal sculptor Michel Bassompierre on Place Aristide Briand.
PORNICHET
In 1989, the town of Pornichet acquired a monumental 3.20m bronze dolphin, “Le Bond,” created by animal sculptor Michel Bassompierre.
